Edelon Technologies, incorporated in Mexico, develops decision software for public institutions and for defense. It operates this site and the subdomains associated with edelontechnologies.com.

Accessing and using the site constitutes acceptance of these terms in their current version. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.

These terms govern the site, not the software. Use of Edelon systems deployed within an institution's infrastructure is governed by the contract entered into with that institution, as described in the Privacy Notice.

Edelon may modify these terms. When a change is substantial, it will be announced on the site itself; in any case, the date at the foot of the document indicates when it was last updated.

Use of the site after a modification constitutes acceptance of the version in force at that time.

Edelon retains the rights to the site and to its content: text, trademarks, visual identity, layout, color combinations, graphic elements and code.

Assume that everything you read or see here is protected by copyright or other rights, whether held by Edelon or by a third party that licensed its use to Edelon.

Except as expressly provided in this document, nothing in it grants you any license to Edelon's confidential information, intellectual property or content.

When using the site, you will at all times comply with applicable law and with these terms, and you will not authorize or permit any third party to act contrary to them. In particular, without Edelon's prior written authorization:

• You will not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, republish or publicly display the content of the site or the code that generates it, or create derivative works from them, beyond what the law permits.
• You will not use programs, devices, scripts, robots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated processes to extract or copy the site or its content.
• You will not carry out reverse engineering, decompilation or disassembly, or attempt to discover the source code, underlying ideas or algorithms of the software described on the site.

What you may do. You may read, link to, quote with attribution and publicly discuss what Edelon publishes, including its doctrine documents. Those texts are published precisely to be read, quoted and debated. These terms do not restrict that discussion, or the exercise of freedom of expression, of academic research or of the press, or the right of quotation recognized by law.

Where the site allows documentation or materials to be downloaded, their use is subject to the conditions accompanying each file and, in the absence of such conditions, to these terms.

You may use them for legitimate internal purposes related to the evaluation of, contracting with or relationship with Edelon. Edelon retains ownership of and all rights to them. No right is granted to redistribute them commercially, to present them as your own or to alter them by removing their attribution.

The Edelon name, its visual identity and the names of its platforms and systems—among others, Orbis, Concord, Axiom, Meridian, Bastion, Praetor and Montesquieu—are trademarks or trade names of Edelon.

They may not be used, whether as part of trademarks or as part of domain names, in a manner that may cause confusion as to the origin, affiliation or endorsement of a product or service.

Several of those names derive from Latin or from historical references in the public domain. Their adoption as trademarks does not imply affiliation with, or endorsement or sponsorship by, any institution, person or rights holder unrelated to Edelon.

Edelon does not object to third-party sites linking to the home page of this site in an appropriate context. By contrast, reproducing it within a frame (framing) or replicating it (mirroring) requires prior written authorization.

The site may link to external resources for convenience and for informational purposes. Edelon does not control those resources: it does not endorse them and is not responsible for their availability, content, accuracy or legality, or for any damage arising from their use. Questions about an external site should be directed to whoever publishes it.

The content of this site is prepared with diligence, but it is provided as is and as available. Edelon does not warrant that it is accurate, complete or current at all times, or that the site will operate uninterrupted or error-free.

Where the site describes the capabilities of a system, that description is informational. It does not constitute a performance warranty or a binding offer: the capabilities committed to an institution are solely those set out in the corresponding contract.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edelon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or loss of data, arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this site or its content.

This limitation has exceptions, and they are not stated as a formality. It does not cover dolo (willful misconduct) or gross negligence, or any case in which Mexican law prevents liability from being limited. The Código Civil Federal (Federal Civil Code) declares void any advance waiver of the right to enforce liability arising from dolo, and this document does not purport otherwise.

You will hold Edelon harmless from third-party claims arising from your access to or use of the site, from a breach of these terms or from an infringement of third-party rights committed by you. This obligation is limited to what is attributable to your own conduct and does not extend to claims arising from acts or omissions of Edelon.

Edelon applies reasonable security measures to the email and electronic communications you send it. Even so, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and the confidentiality of what is sent, or of its content, cannot be guaranteed.

Decide carefully what information you send through these channels. To report a vulnerability, use the channel described in the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy. The processing of the personal data you share is described in the Privacy Notice.

Breaching or attempting to breach the security of the site is prohibited. Edelon investigates potential incidents and acts in accordance with applicable law.

With one express exception. Security research conducted in good faith, within the scope and conditions of the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, is authorized and does not violate this clause. The safe harbor declared in that document prevails over this section: it would be inconsistent to invite research and to threaten anyone for doing it.

Nothing published on this site constitutes a binding offer, a formal proposal or a contractual commitment to any institution.

Any relationship with a public entity is governed by the applicable public procurement legislation and by the contract entered into, not by this site or its content.

An institution's use of the software is governed by that contract. In those deployments, the institution decides on the data and Edelon acts as a processor, to the extent detailed in the Privacy Notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from them will be submitted to the competent courts in Mexico, with an express waiver of any other forum that might otherwise apply by reason of present or future domicile.

If you access the site from another jurisdiction, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with the law that applies to you.

These terms, together with the Privacy Notice and the Cookie Policy, constitute the agreement regarding the use of this site.

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions retain full force and effect. Edelon's failure to exercise a right or to require compliance with any part of these terms at a given time does not constitute a waiver of its right to do so later.

If, by reason of your status, the law exempts you from any of these obligations, that obligation does not apply to you.
